Growing up not far from Connecticut?s Stafford Motor Speedway and having family involved in the sport, it came as no surprise when Earl asked his father for a go-kart at age 10yrs old. Earl had a passion for racing at a young age. In fact, one might say that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree when it came to racing, as Earl?s Father, Earl Pelletier Sr., was active in the racing circuit at Plainville Stadium in Connecticut with several victories of his own.
Earl started go-kart racing at age 10yrs old. His best finish then was 3rd place within the Prospect Kart Association. When he was 19yrs old he ran at Riverside Park Speedway dabbling in the Strictly Stock Division and later went on to drag racing. Throughout his 20's, Earl continued on the drag racing circuit in Lebanon Valley. Shortly thereafter, staying true to form, he ended up back to where his childhood passion began, Earl returned to go-kart racing. He raced all over New England with the World Karting Association taking several victories along the way.
With the support and encouragement from his family and friends, Earl was urged to try his hand at the historic half-mile track. In 2008, Earl and his brother Kevin purchased a Chassis Dynamics Modified race car to compete in the SK Light Division at Stafford Motor Speedway. Turns out, like father like son, Earl took a first place finish that same year on August 1st. In 2009 he added to his record taking the checkered two more times. 2010 proved to be a more difficult year for the team, as the competition continued to be fierce. Earl and his team have their sights set on adding to their victories in 2011 at Stafford Motor Speedway.
In memory of his father, Earl proudly sports the #27, on the side of his racecar.
