Accomplishments:
Heather began her racing career at the age of 10 in Go-Karts at Pinnacle Raceway in Chicopee, MA, winning over 50 races and 5 track championships from 02- 05. In 2005, at the age of 15, Heather moved up a level to racing 750cc mini sprints on dirt at Whip City Speedway in Westfield, MA. Heather won 3 features, Rookie of the Year, and the Track Championship in the 750CC Sportsman class. In 2007 Heather realized a lifelong dream of following in her father, former modified driver Don DesRochers, footsteps. She made the move back to asphalt at the Stafford Motor Speedway in the SK Light Division. Over the course of four years, Heather recorded two wins, as well as numerous top five and ten finishes in the Light Division. For the 2011 season, DesRochers will be behind the wheel of the number 24 SK Modified. With the help of her dedicated sponsors and committed crew, 2011 should prove to be an excellent season!
