GUNSMOKE STABLES OFFERS UNIQUE CONTINGENCY BONUS TO SK LIGHT MODIFIED COMPETITORS AT STAFFORD IN 2011

(Stafford Springs, CT)---For the 2011 season at Stafford Motor Speedway, SK Light competitors will have extra incentive to take the checkered flag first and put their car into CARQUEST Victory Lane. Thanks to Steve and Diana Greer of Gunsmoke Stables, SK Light feature winners will receive an extra $100 for their efforts from the Gunsmoke Stables Front Runner Challenge. There is however a twist to the contingency payout that could potentially result in quite a large haul for SK Light drivers.

Once a driver wins their first race of the season, they are not eligible to win the award a second time. If a driver should collect a second feature win during the season, the $100 bonus for that week will roll over to the next race. The bonus will continue to grow by $100 each week until there is a first time winner that claims the bonus.

"We really wanted to be able to give something back to the SK Light drivers this season, and after taking with Mark Arute, this seemed like a really interesting idea for a contingency bonus," said Greer. "Times are tough and it will be nice to be able to put some extra money in the pockets of the SK Light competitors to help them with their racing costs. Last year was an exciting season of competition in the SK Light division and I think that this program is only going to add to the excitement and intensity of the SK Light races. If there are repeat feature winners and the bonus rolls over for several weeks in a row, it will be a very nice payout for a competitor to leave the track with."

The first opportunity to claim the Gunsmoke Stables Front Runner Challenge will be at the 40th Annual CARQUEST Tech-Net Spring Sizzler Weekend, scheduled for April 29-May 1.
